Started in 2010, the Rainbow Resource Centre BBQ was held to introduce community members to the staff and space of the Rainbow Resource Centre, a non-profit organization located at 170 Scott St., Winnipeg. The event was free, but donations were welcome, with proceeds going to the Rainbow Resource Centre. The Rainbow Resource Centre continues to operate, although the event’s final year was 2015. As of 2022, the Rainbow Resource Centre has announced the “Annual Intergenerational Tea Party.”
